Im gonna try it this weekend and see if it helps....Ill definately know after 1 round as im normally sore after them....

Fingers crossed...

I do still suffer from lower back pain after an injury so this will be worth a try at the range tomorrow. I have just started some flexibility exercises from a back care book that I got and that seems to be helping.

I posted on here a couple of weeks ago that I too was suffering from lower back pain, and still am a little bit.

Now after 6 weeks and a couple of deep tissue massages and about 2million Ibuprofen it is starting to get a little better after a trip to the quacks on Tues. He said that my muscles were extremely tight. Therefore, he prescribed me some Diazepam tablets which are a muscle relaxing drug (and also a anti-depresent!!)

Anyway, so far so good, but there are many many different types of problems that you can have so good luck.

BTW, it didnt stop me having a 73 last weekend off a 11 handicap! :)

I've found that a range of Static and Dynamic stretches have helped alot with back pain from an injury a few years back, before I started golf.

Apparently there is a beginner, intermediate and advanced set of stretches designed to help you recover from back pain then strengthen core muscles for golf.

This is the site where I started then just researched on from there:

In my opinion any golfer who hits a pull-fade (ball starts left of their toe/target line) will suffer from a bad back as it puts an incredible amount of strain on the lower spine.
