At risk of redundancy again!!

Just found out today, all 20 in the team are "at risk" but with no jobs its the final hole with a 20 footer over a bunker with water around the hole to win..

I didn’t get angry like last time (December) just kind of accepted it and gave the wicked witch my piece.

So now have 3 months at risk and 1 month official redundancy if they cant get out of paying the pittance they have offered.

Hey ho must press on and get that hole in one I have been chasing for two years.

I applied for an internal job in Dec and got it in Jan but then the new team I joined have all been put "at risk" and the only other jobs are in manc and as I don't drive its a 5 hour commute both ways to the airport each day and taking a lot of my wage.

Sorry to hear that mate. I've just heard that i'm 'not' one of the 12 engineers being made redundant from our national company , so for myself its a sigh of relief....but i think its only the beginning and i'm guessing there will be more before the years out

Parmo, I have experienced being layed off twice and it is a huge blow but I hope you find something else in the near future.

Sorry to hear that mate. HID joined a company in March after being made redundant at CHristmas and now found out they are looking to get administrators in during June
