Watching the Seve trophy yesterday I thought it was great to see some of the players not wearing their caps. As was commented on TV. Howard Clark said without their caps we can see their faces. I thought it was good seeing them without them. I know it's all sponsorship and advertising. but for me it was a plesant change..

Have to agree with that , although I didnt watch more than 5 minutes of highlights I saw McIlroy/McDowell without their caps and couldnt believe it. What a refreshing change , you get a much better picture of their reactions/facial features

I hardly recognised McIlroy with the "streamlined" hair cut and no bush of hair sticking out the side of a cap. It is good to see but sadly a cap is the one of the most prominent advertising positions and like everything money talks.

Rory got his hair cut a couple of weeks ago and i think he now looks like he has a perm I see hiself and Mcdowell are getting in a bit of pratice for the world golf championship in a couple of weeks they will be hard to beat in that.
