Playing Gaibsborough tomorrow @1.15,looking foreward to it
very much,as I hav'nt been there before,and Ive got a game
on sunday @Pike Hills on sunday weather permitting..

Bogey comp on Saturday, then first county pool match of the year Sunday.

Sometimes I feel like I get away with being out a lot, but then the missus is off to Kenya on Wednesday so I don't get it all my own way!

What do you mean?? That sounds perfect! Whilst she is away you can get out and play as much as you want. Wish HID would go away without me so I could play some more.

No. Played 30 holes today and I'm all golfed out. The course has dried out dramatically this week so I made the most of the good conditions today. Putting was so much easier and my drives actually had some roll on them today rather than the last couple of months of pitch and plug.

probably play in the roll up tomorrow - was hoping I could collect the new irons today - but they won't arrive until next Friday, probably. booh hoo!

I feel sorry for all those North of Hadrian with the forecasts for this weekend :( Hope fully the forecasters will be overreacting again and you'll get some golf in.
I'm in the Saturday comp, charity qualifer. looking forward to some firm ground at last and at least getting in the buffer zone. no pretentions of winning, just going out to enjoy the day, if it happens, it happens. ;)

Practice on the Academy course at Barnham Broom tomorrow morning, followed by a lesson, followed by more practice and then a round with two mates. A perfect day.

Played 18 this morning - 84 gross (Par 71) best of the year so far - so I'm hoping I haven't peaked too early as there was no money at stake.
Usual Saturday crew tomorrow - hopefully I won't have to put my pound in - only take the money out - I feel I'm due a Saturday win amongst the 12 of us.

Normal roll up without Hawkeye it seems (hope its not becoming too expensive for him shelling out £2 each week or maybe he's saving himself for carrying me next Sunday) and the medal on Sunday at 9.20 ironically with Hawkeye in the group behind watching my laughable attempts to hit a buffer!

Managed to twist my knee last weekend so still a bit tender around the sprained medial collateral ligament. You think it's getting better then you turn or twist the wrong way and it's a sharp reminder all is not well.

So I'm glad it's going to be a horrible day here tomorrow :D

Friendly 4BBB on Saturday afternoon. Will be just my 3rd round of the year (since October 2009 in fact). Got a couple of things to try out from my lesson on Thursday (not getting too wristy at impact and clearing my left side) so looking forward to it.

I'm a bit gutted I can't play tomorrow but I've had to do a bit of strategic negotiation with Mrs Hawkeye so I can play on Sunday and be late for the lunch she's had arranged with friends for ages. If I don't play Sunday I'm not eligible for next week so it had to be done. Next week is Saturday though Homer(19th) not Sunday

Mid month stableford Saturday and then playing with a colleague who's over from Japan on Sunday. Going to lend him my Mizzies to make him feel at home!! :D
