I don't mean your road, (looks like pretty much 100% of the UK and NI is mapped and imaged now), but are you yourself in an image somewhere? Or is someone you know on there?

Not sure about the whole thing myself. Although I don't feel it's an invasion of privacy, I can see why some people might. It's fun to "drive" around on there though, going to places you know, places you've not been for a long time, seeing houses of friends and family you've not seen yet perhaps.

I am on it. Elbe street in Leith. Very funny. We had spotted our old boss standing outside our work on mitchell street having a fag (she's now been diagnosed with cancer and isn't coming back). We were laughing at her then went round the corner and there i was!!!! he he. must've been 3pm going by the sun position and that's when i go for a break most days.

lol... just went for another look as it's ages since i did, and found my old car parked just down the street. ahhh. the memories!

I've just checked because my street wasn't on it for a long time, but I remember the car coming round last year while I was in the garden and there I am. Staring straight into the camera standing at my neighbours front door.

I'm at the boot of my car outside the shop at Goswick Golf Club, it was taken about a year ago as the drainage was being fixed on the driving range. My car needed a wash at the time as well.

I emailed Google and complained about invasion of privacy. They removed the part of the street that my house is on from StreetView
