Just watched a snicky bit of the Women's Open at work, and there is a women (Ueda) playing in cycling/beach shorts. Surely that can not be right? if she turned up at my place dressed like that i would expect for her to be told sorry, you must wear the correct attire.

Unlike many gentlemen golfers i have nothing against the lady golfer, but you cant have rules for one and a different rule for the others. I have no problem with shorts but this just didn't look right to me. Dont get me wrong she looked good in them. But what are your thoughts?

Standards are dropping imo, however nice if they can pull it off.
Theres one there that looks like she should be a shot putter instead.
What about mens caddies, they should all wear the same outfits, there are some right scruffy barstewards.

Don't think its any different to the dodgy outfits worn by the men on tour - Poulter, Fowler and Daly - I personally hate the trousers I see everywere that look like tracksuits.
However, golf needs to accept that +4's are no longer the rage and move with some semblance of fashon.

Ueda looked good in them. They were proper tight and showed off her bum lovely. Not proper attire but I would love to stand behind her on the tee ;)

You're beginning to sound like a Senior.
