Has your course or a course you've played got anything unusual or unique about it.

I played Leckford GC, its owned by John Lewis. It doesnt have a clubhouse, starter or anything. Just a small hut and you pay by dropping an envelope into a box or a chip&pin machine. Its done on trust - nice course by the way.

Only ever seen that course when working on Leckford farm doing field trials... never played it

The course at Norh Luffenham army base is run with an honesty box. Also has roads and parts of the old runway crossing fairways.

We have an original hole and green from 1891 still and the only thing missing from it is a windmill

Nothing interesting on the local muni that I use but I was interested to see on hols last week in the New Forest the unusual sight of New Forest ponies being moved along as golfers at Burley golf club tried to complete their round.

Any new forest golf course members on the forum that can give us an insight into local rules on movable temporary hazards? Be it on four hooves on left by something on four hooves
I’ll bet a hoof leaves a bigger mark on a green than a spike as well.

The 10th & 11th holes on my home course have the remains of WWI & WWII gun implacements on them. The guns were used to protect the British Fleet when it was anchored in Scapa Flow. Behind the 5th & 3rd greens is an army barracks from the same time. Apparently its one of the best examples left in Europe and is currently undergoing some restoration work as it's going to be opened to the public soon.

The most unique thing about Lymm is that we have 2 contrasting sets of holes, 3-10 are a heathland / links type mix along the bank of the River Mersey. 1,2 and 11-18 are all parkland , a bit up and down but with some nice elavation changes.

I played a course on a society day once,that was suffering with Badgers digging up a green adjacent to a small wood.There was s ign near the green encouraging members to pee at the edge of the wood,in order to discourage the badgers from coming onto the course.

my muni course is built on an ex council dump, we run the risk of old mine shafts!!! and there is a slaughter house next to it. found the odd cows ear lying about. but nothing unique to talk about

Knowle Park near Sevenoaks in Kent have several thousand deer roaming the course. You do not get free relief from deer poop.

Hankley Common. All paths and roads are integral so no relief. Many of the paths are bridle ways often used by people on horses. If your ball is in a hoof print on a path - tough. Play it as it lies.
