as title has anyone ever had a titleist fitting and what was your opinion on it i have been to ping before and was toying with the idea of getting some new irons and was thinking titleist but if the feedback is poor ill stick with ping maybe try the new ping forged anser

Macster had a driver fitting a couple of years ago for the magazine. I'm sure some on here have had a fitting for Titleist irons - Murph for one, maybe Region3 as well.
Don't forget Mizzy when you try irons....

I was custom fitted for my AP2s and Vokeys at the beginning of the year and my 910D2 about a month back. I didn't go to any of the Titleist National Fitting centres, but was fitted by my pro who I have worked with for over three years and knows my swing. He also happens to be a Titleist Custom Fitter.

I was c/f at Brampton, the national centre. Can't fault it really. Was here for about an hour, and then played their golf course on the cheap.

I was fitted at Brampton.

I'd only just started playing again so I was fitted for the whole bag, minus putter.

Irons was using strike board for lie adjustment, and just a swing speed radar and watching the flight of the ball and how each shaft felt.

For the woods they used the launch monitor.

I thought the whole thing was very good, although I didn't have much idea of what to expect.

The only thing that I wished had been different was using the LM for my irons, to check the spin. I guess they would've done if I'd asked but I was a bit like a rabbit caught in the headlights going along with whatever they said.

I'd happily go again, in fact I'm seriously thinking of going in the new year for the new 910 driver because I have a bit of shop credit to spend.
