Played in our Friday sweep yesterday, 38 points with 1 blob so relatively happy. Nothing today but winter league on Sunday, currently were unbeaten so hope to keep that going.
I'm hoping the weather forecast stays decent for tomorrow, i have a brand new G25 driver that needs a good seeing too!!!

played 7 holes and finished - wrist is hurting and has been for a month - and the course is too wet for me to enjoy it - semi final of winter pairs next week and not in a good place with my golf!

Well had winter league this morning, 30 with 3 nil pointers and happy with that as I can work on the nil pointers as one was down to a 3 putt and another was just poor course management and the other was me just been a greedy

Course closed as predicted. Hit the range and worked on the swing for the first time in a while. Hit it quite well. Did some pitching and funnily the distance control using a more traditional method as opposed to the linear was much better. Got a short game evaluation tomorrow so will be very interesting to see what the guy thinks. Happy to go linear if that's what he suggests as I'm getting confident with it. If he wants something more neutral then we'll work from there

Was due to play Childwall this morning but as it was chucking it down and forecast not to stop we binned it.
As it happened it stopped at 8:00 so I went down to the range at our place.
Found out later that Childwall was shut anyway.

2 winter league stableford this morning. Birdied the 1st and parred the next 4 holes flying along. 21 front 9 then wheels fell off with a pulled wedge ob on 10 but saved a point. 17 back 9 so hoping for a 0.4 cut. 38 and I came off dissapointed. Strange game.

Played the Channel course at Burnham and Berrow this morning.
Absolutely lovely day,the course was in good nick considering the rain.
Greens were like lightning,and the course chewed me up and spat me out.
