• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

Any snobs at your place.

Like all the best things, Pot Noodles are made in Wales.

Nothing to be snobby about, the staple food of several generations of students

" I nearly said to her that if you had been holding penises all day you would not want to hold a sandwich".

Am I the only one that is curious about how Mrs T spends her day?

Tashy I'm assuming its a metaphorical Pot Noodle and it's more a case of what it symbolises and yeah I can think of one or two who've never ripped open that sauce sachet or flicked out the dried peas into the bin with a fork while waiting for the kettle to boil

Although if the thread is actually about Pot Noodles why has no one mentioned the daddy of them all, the mighty Beef & Tomato (its always on my shortlist of junk food I need from the UK)

And just to keep it a golf themed thread, I've been known to smack a Noodle from time to time

The most telling thing about Chicken and Mushroom Pot Noodle is the fact that the word Chicken doesn't appear in the list of ingredients....

'Nuff said.......

Pot noodles ... my one and only addiction. Really. I am normally a bit of a healthy eating freak, but I just cannot stay away from that stuff. I think it is the monosodiumglutamat.

When I think about food snobs at our golf club, the one that immedeately springs to mind is my aunt. She can never just order anything from the menu and alway has to complicate things. Like: "I would like a tomato salad, but make sure the tomatos are peeled. And no dressing, just get me olive oil and balsamico. But only if the olive oil is Italian and cold pressed." I have known her to order three different dishes and send them back to the kitchen until she finally finds one she is satisfied enough with to nibble at.
