Any fatties on here?

Hi there, I used to be 23 stone and am using golf to help loose weight, and to be honest the sizing of most golf clothes are on the small size. I can be anything from xl to xxxl, for shirts, american sizes also confuse matters as some brands sell items in two sizes european and american, so what is an xxl in european size becomes an xl in american sizing. I tend to use ebay to get stuff sent over from the US.

I am a fairly hefty chap but can get stuff in tesco, asda ,sports direct, matalan, tkmax (you an see i do not spend a fortune on clothes). Cotton Traders are good and in golf makes, Ashworth tend to be fairly generous size wise.

Try debenhams they have a decent golf range at decent prices too.

Hope this helps fatty :D

And from a fellow Stuart too!

I'l have you know I'm mostly muscle, the only fat on meis unfortunately around my waist! But like Mark above, I'm working on it ;) Currently 19 st down from 20 st 7lb so its working.

Will take a look around Debenhams at the weekend, sick and tired of wearing lacoste shirts, they're too thick for this weather!

if you want Stromberg, IJP, Oscar Jacobson then you'll struggle but several of the others do cater for the more manly figure. Then again a polo is a polo and who cares if it's Galvin Green, Tesco or Asda.
