as above!!
been out of action from doing triathlon for 7 months, my knee packed in, but decided to get back on the bike this weekend. 40 miler to get back into things after the Medal on Saturday.
anyone else?

Used to be a Cat 1 Road man, but broke my knee in 7 places in 95 and that was the end of that.

Still got my old training bike and a mtb, don't use them much at all way too hilly where i live now

Please don't train between 8 & 9 in the morning or 5.30 & 6.30 in the evening on an A road with no passing points!!!! :D :D :D

:D

I dabble now and again on my mountain bike, but haven't done any serious cycling for nearly 20 years.
I raced BMX's in my teens, was west mids number 1,and national number 14 in my last year of racing.Moved to road racing, and time trialling shortly after.I used to ride most evenings after work, usually 30-40 miles, and if i wasn't racing,i'd do longer runs with members of the cycling club at weekends.I never set the world alight, but raced cat 2,and did a few sub hour 25 miler's.
As i said,i still dabble, but time constraints, and problems with my back and knees have ruled out any serious cycling.

Cat 1, impressive.

I commute whilst working in London, 7.5 miles each day, and ride a bit when back at home in Cornwall.

Both Road bikes; steel framed for commute, carbon fibre for home.

Cycle in and out of work, only 8 miles e/w but I enjoy it. Looking for a new waterproof jacket for the winter. My old Altura Nevis has seen better days and isn't quite as waterproof as it once was.

Allows me to have a couple of extra mars bars a week so its worth the effort in my opinion although the cycle track can be scary cycling home at 3 am!!!
