My mates birthday tomorrow and I don't know what pressie to buy him, he's 50 and in to distance cycling . So I was thinking something along those lines about the £30 mark.
I know zilch about bikes so any suggestions would be welcome btw not a bell. cheers.

If he's in your neck of the woods, I'd suggest a solid pairs of walking shoes would be more appropriate for the next few months!

Gift vouchers are the easy, but probably more practical choice.

Good thinking Foxy , I thought Oldskier might have suggested something like that .

Gift voucher but from a proper cycle shop not halfords. Most keen cyclists won't touch halfords.

I do a lot of cycling and if he is serious about it he will pretty much have all the gear he needs. So as others have said, vouchers could be a good option.

Quite a few Boardmans to be seen under "keen cyclists" these days...

For something slightly different how about a pair of cufflinks shaped like a chain link...
Got some for one of my lads a while back and he was well pleased [actually uses them as well]...
I must admit that I haven't seen any club cyclists around here using Boardman road bikes but I think they look a decent bike to be honest.
