no mate....I had the mark 1 Nike VR combo set, (4,5,6 split cavity & 7-PW blade) and then the VR11 set I had were all blades 3-PW not combo, although I did buy the 4 iron combo later.

As Rick said, mine are the later version. 4 and 5 are pocket cavity (although Nike website says only 3 and 4 are?!) like the MP Fli-Hi (welded on face), 6 and 7 are normal cavity, and 8-PW are blades.

I know I'm going to be biased but I think the blades look nicer than MP-69 and MB712's.

6-PW are also far less forgiving than my AP2's (4 & 5 are about the same) with a smaller head and thinner topline.
