Gissa job! I can do that!

I wonder how much money that study cost? What a waste of time. They could have paid me half the money and I'd have told them all they needed to know in about 5 minutes.

So many of these "studies" strike me as being an excuse for people keeping themselves out of the real world

God help Humanity........................

You know what they should do, research why we shank. That will keep them busy. See if they cant find a cure for that. Now that would be a worth while study, and one golfers will actually be interested in.

The heating went off in the Media studies classroom so they had to move to the 'Useless information' class where someone had left a book on the table, you just cannot stop the enthusiasm of the students

Let them get to work on the theory of why every time I have a round lined up at the weekends the weather goes poxy and makes it an unappetising prospect. Wind chill of -10 for my round on Sunday. Mmmmm excited already.

Mrs Imurg has the answer.

Apparently, University lecturers are obliged to undertake research projects and have them published on a regular basis - how regular varies from Uni to Uni.

That's how we get all these rubbish studies coming out telling us stuff we already know or don't want to know.

Back in 1995 I spent four days at Inverclyde on a golf tuition course. Excellent guys doing the training and a good facility at the Sport Scotland facility.

During the week I learned evry type of shot necessary to get the ball round the course. By the Thursday morning I could even hit a driver ( remember old small headed in those days) off the deck.

Thursday afternoon, off to Routenburn Golf Course to put it all into action.

After a good first drive it was all downhill !

You'd have thought I had never played golf in my life before that day!

Paralysis by Analysis. Took me weeks to get over it and play my own game.
