Fully agree. Have enough issues with players not returning cards because "they don't want the 0.1". It's not up to them!

No, but they could ask if you wanted the shot back. In my case, no, I don't. Just because I struggled in some comps doesn't mean I'm not tearing it a new one every Friday.

That's not how it works. The committee looks at the recommendations in the report and makes decisions based on them and any other factors. It's irrelevant if the player doesn't want a shot back - if that's the decision, then that's what happens. In the same way, the committee is not going to ask if you would have any objection to being cut.

if you have played a fair few and not been cut, why should you on a few bounce games?

This is a good question. Is there a number of qualifiers whereby, if you've played more than 15/20/any other arbitrary choice you aren't included in the review?
