Because he's far less of a showman I think, that's all it is. Nadal and Federer have more personality on court, which romantic tennis fans connect to. Whereas Djokovic is just kind of dull but ruthlessly efficient. It's a shame because he does seem every bit the nice guy when interviewed and stuff.

Think I have missed Rafas personality on court in the last 15 years. Novak much more personality on and off course. Roger and Rafe seem very nice, but Novak is much spikier, dry sense of humour, and does great imitations of the top payers. He is also like a big cat on court, with amazing movement. Can’t imagine Rafa doing the splits.

Rafa spends alot of his time on court picking his shorts out of his bottom. It is not an endearing habit, however good he may be at tennis.
