Abso flippin lutely. I cant believe I havent swung a club in around a month now, talk about climbing the walls! The foot and a half drifts in the back garden havent really dropped by much but I am hoping that the temps are in the plus side and itll not be long in breaking down. Might even get a game in by the end of the year!
Anyone else seeing a bit of a downpour right now?

Heavy Rain here at the moment. Might take a while to get rid of the snow and ice but seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Forecast is for more rain and + temperatures for the next few days so a chance of a game before the end of the year.

No. We're looking at Thurs, min, for a bit of rain to clear the snow. Then frezing again for the weekend to close the course again.

Something to look forward to then.

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh I have the week off work and the weather conspires against me everytime! Really fed up at the moment. Temps up to 6 degrees on tuesday according to Accuweather, bring it on.

Ment to start here on Tuesday, but weather is ment to get good over this week so might be able to sneak in a round or two by the end of the week!! Thank god, was starting to go a bit loopy :P

No sign of rain or significantly above zero temperatures in the next week to be able to get a game in. I played on Nov 18th at Matfen in decent conditions, then December 14th at Longhirst in very cold, but very decent course conditions at Longhirst. Guess it will be a couple of weeks at least

well, woke up this morning and all our snow has gone.

Still won't be playing though, with a three week old baby at home, as well as a 2 year old daughter, I think the missus would cut something off if I even dared to try and venture out.

It was starting to rain last night when I went to bed so I thought "This is it, the thaw has started." I woke up this morning to another inch of snow. More shovelling. Bloody Groundhog Day!

Raining here and temp is at 4*. Just like the thing as I spend 4 hours yesterday thawing out the cludgey down pipe. Plastic pipe so couldn't use the blow torch but improvised by using the wallpaper steamer with the hose taped to a brush shaft. stuck it on the ladder and sat back to watch the footy.

Raining here, hope to maybe head down to one of Ayrshire's links in the next couple of days with a bit of Donald Duck!
