never had either but an albatross is my ultimate dream from golf
Thought your ultimate golf dream would be a hole in one on a par 5. It has been done.never had either but an albatross is my ultimate dream from golf

Without google does anyone know what one better than an albatross is? (not the American version)

also dont know and resisting google as I'm sure I've heard it before, its another large bird afaik but none are ringing any bells with me...so far
I've had two albatrosses, both 2's on shortish par-5 holes, and one hole-in-one. I would rate the albatrosses more highly, because they are 3 under par, but a hole-in-one on a par-3 is only 2 under par.No not the song !
Joost Luiten scored one today. Anyone had one, if so do you rate it higher than a hole in one, I havn't had one but suspect I would rank it higher in my little golfing book of personal achievements (a thin tome).

I thought they called that a Condor. Not sure if that is the official name but think I've heard it a couple of times.
Double eagle.
thats already said and is American for Albatross
Sorry senior moment.
As Condor used to be a pipe tobacco brand name perhaps the UK should call it a Old Hoburn Best Shag.
Had one on a par 5
