Bit of a Rock and a Hard place for you that one. Whatever you email them to request the reasoning, all you’ll get back is corporate speak due to the ownership model and company concerned. I wouldn’t even know if they have onsite course managers or secretaries as the one near where their offices my wife used to work didn’t have onsite management, that one was done from the nearby swimming poolThanks for your input. If they'd just intimated what you have I'd maybe have understood. Instead they just said it's because the government raised the retirement age. It's annoying because my playing partner is 64 and has paid the senior rate for the past 4 years but will now have to pay the regular green fee for another three. We have played there maybe 20 times a year for several years.
As a result they’ve got you over a barrel no real face to complain to, no sensitive ear to appeal to. It’s very much a put up or shut up scenario as they know int hat area you’re limited to their offering or a pretty expensive surrounding area of courses with likely joining fees. Though I don’t recall that company doing a full annual membership so is this now you have to pay an increased residual and increased green fees or is just a one off full years subscription.
