I do one partly because I wanted to, partly because I was asked to and partly because it annoys the crap out of a lot of people on here :D :p

Quite an opinion you have of yourself there Homer. I think it is fair to say that more people spend less time worrying about you than you do about your blog. I for one have never read it and really don't think I am missing much as we get plenty of over analysis on here through your million and a half posts.

As said plenty of times before, blogs by those in non professional/celebrity positions (not just looking at you on this one) do not offer anything new or insightful that other normal people cannot experience themselves.
Rory McIlroy tweets pictures of him and Gmac in a hotel room with the US open trophy and the Ryder Cup, normal folks cannot match that so why bother?

Hi Just adding to Justone's advice. I too ran a golf blog and did make some money - a retail outfit actually paid me for the writing for a while, but I think that idea has gone out of fashion (or maybe it was just me!).
Yes, you have to post often but only short pieces. Every day if poss(I found twice a week hard going). I also suggest you visit lots of other blogs, first of all to get ideas, then to leave genuine comments. This will bring more traffic back to yours and you may get discussion developing which is good fun.
Enoy it if you haven't been put off already!
