Advice on a Bargain 3 Wood

Having changed my irons I now do not need a gap wedge in my bag so have room for an extra club. I am lacking a long second shot off the fairway and my 5 wood is a bit short as a back up off the tee so am looking to put a 3 wood in the bag. Thing is, I am not looking to spend a fortune on a named brand club (wife has noticed how much I have spent on clubs over the last year). My local pro shops only stock the more expensive clubs so may even be looking to take a punt on an internet bargain. I am considering the Benross V6 Trimas but has anyone got any other budget suggestions.

Your situation is the same as me and I got a second hand Taylormade V steelMk2 3 wood. It's got a small head but it's real good..........for me.

Get on ebay and search out anything by the big boys, the older the cheaper. I'd look out for a Callaway warbird or Taylor Made fairway, from late 1990s.
Steelhead £53....hmm....great club, but way too pricey....you can have mine for £20 (Steelhead 1. Memphis "10" R), or, like buses, there'll be loads along soon on ebay.....never go for more than £30. I'd bet you could pick up a mid-90s bubble burner for under £20.
