Hi guys, not a rant this time.

I'm thinking about moving away from a push/pull trolley. Currently a motocaddy S1 lite. Absolutely loved the step from carrying to trolley, but playing alot more now i'm thinking about moving to an electric trolley as well carrying occasionally.

The S1 is rather large when collapsed, but has served it's purpose brilliantly. A large motivation was the recent article in last months GM magazine, and it's terrific review of a number of trollies. Fantastic reviews and variety!

A budget of around £300, and the one that caught my eye was the GoKart automatic or Normal. But there is the S1 pro or M1, the powacaddy fw3 or the hill billy?

Has anyone any good, bad or useful experiences or recommendations?

Thanks

If you gave a tight budget and want something simple and reliable then a Powerbug (£249.99 in Am Golf just now) would be my recommendation. Ihad mine for over 3yrs without any issues.

I have the normal GoKart and I'm really pleased with it.
Simple to use (not too many gizmo's), well made, reliable.
The customer service is excellent too (well documented on this forum).

I do find I have to replace the battery every 2-3 years. Apparently this is to be expected though.

I took the plunge and bought the M1, I had argued with myself on several occasions but it folds up pretty small for an electric trolley and it does the job so very well.

On the other hand, if space is not a factor then the GoKart is a must, service is second to none.

The Go Kart is simple and efficient and you have the confidence of their exceptional customer service. I got a Motocaddy M1 (with lithium) which was pricy because of the battery but is smaller and lighter than GK and has the facility to put an umbrella straight into the accessory holder (the GK doesn't have this facility as standard) and I also got the Motocaddy bag thrown in
