Further to the thread about which push trolley to buy, the more I think about this the more I am tempted especially as I have a bit of birthday money spare.

I currently use a reasonable lightweight pull trolley which works Ok but I'm wondering if a push trolley would offer any significant advantage or benefit.

Many thanks.

mine operates as a mobile zimmer frame......echoing the above comments.

my osteopath thinks it's excellent :)

add in umbrella holder over the clubs (and you at times) as another plus

Better on the back, more stable, easily accessible drinks holder (usually), a handle I can strap my Sat Nav to, you can let it go to roll down hills, a brolly holder and most important of all, you don't look like you're still playing golf in the 1980s :D

Cheaper than an electric one, no battery to worry about
its easier to push rather than pull, but main benefit is the lack of spinal pressure or twisting as previously mentioned

Stewart Z3 is worth a good look

I have seen a lot of different makes and models around the club but the only push trolly that I really like is the Stewart one. I personally prefer electric models but that's just me (and I'm officially a golfing old man after today)

as long as you don't buy a silly big bag then its a gift to push!

my powercaddy push trolley is one of my best golf purchases ever!

I use a push trolley in the summer and a pull trolley in the winter as my push trolley is a powerkaddy without the power and electric trolleys are banned when it's wet.
I find the push trolley easier and I get to pick out the club I think I want as I walk to the ball saving time.

I've got the clicgear 3.5 in blue and its the best golf item I've brought, its got loads of available add ons couldn't be happier with it highly recommended......

I would certainly advise a push trolley ...... the kind where the pushing is done by an electric motor.

This.

Why spend top money on a decent push trolley when you can spend a little more an get electric trolley which will save valuable energy for the back nine?

I think it depends what sort of course you play on, if it's hilly I definitely wouldn't recommend a push trolley. Try pushing a trolley up a hill and you end up walking at 45 degrees. Best thing I ever did was sell mine and get an electric one.

My mate has just bought a motocaddy push trolley to match my electric one. Will see him out.
He got it a few weeks ago when during a round i looked back to see his very old pull trolley in a heap on the ground. I fixed the wheels and axle to my trolley he had to hump his bag for the last two holes. Mind you it was a disaster waiting to happen as it had a partial Heath Robinson repair from last year.

PArt of the reason I stuck with the electric
