No, because I have never tried to fix a slice or hook by adjusting my driver, the issue is the swing not the club IMHO.

In my opinion, it's easier for fitters\retailers as they don't have to stock so many clubs, it's easy for manufacturers as they don't have to make so many different spec heads and it sells because people think it will cure their hook or slice.

No, i did used to play with a guy that had all offset woods, but he still sliced it real bad.

Maximise your distance on good shots. Minimise the damage on bad ones

Minimise the damage on bad ones

This is exactly it for me. I rarely lose drives left and as such have my R1 set a little closed with the draw biased weights.

My usual drive with a neutral drive is a fade, with the R1 it's become straighter. My bad shot had gone from a massive slice, to a less massive fade.

I have an adjustable nike vr 10.5 driver. ...set at neutral and dont dare to start adjusting it until I have cconfidnece enough in my swing, I tried, but as a mid handicapper, I still feel that my swing is still too inconsistant for the technology to actially benefit my game, hoping that a fee lessons will help with this. ultimately itsyour swing that shapes the shot. off set clubs are a completely different subject.

My thoughts on them were that I understand that having it set to a draw setting is good for those struggling to square the clubface. However, if the swing path is wonky then you're still going to hit wild shots.

Maybe different for lower handicappers who have a more consistent swing path, but advertising DRAW on a club is surely aiming at the cash-rich-patience-poor hackers (like me).

I have a Titleist 913 (thanks GM) set to the B1 fade position and it does have a favourable effect on my hook. Doesn't eliminate it but reduces it.
