Just received these today and like them a lot,did notice that one of the cleats is missing so SWMBO emailed SportsDirect where she got them for £38 p+p.Thinking--O.K. nice bargain,,hmmm now not so sure as good lady has seen comments suggesting that the cleats tend to fall out quite easily!Have any of you gents came across this problem???(I'm getting some grief off good lady for not doing some searches about these shoes)
Don't suppose that there is any use contacting Adidas themselves as they will probably deny any problems??!!
If I have this problem,Then do I send them back to Sports Direct as the sellers??
Wonder where I would stand legally if these shoes 'are not fit for purpose'?Any ideas/thoughts/experiences would be appreciated!

Knew I should have bought off Scott!!:confused::o:o

Got 3 pairs and not one cleat has fallen off

Some have broken as they are pronounced

Just out of interest, did you get the wide or the normal width shoes from sports direct?
Want to get some but need the wide, and their website doesn't say which ones they are selling.

Pinseeker.....As these are still a relatively new product,I take it that special cleats are neede? and if so where would I buy them-SportsDirect?

Jimbo

Tbh mate my mrs took the shoes back & got them replaced,so I wouldn't know. Ha.

I had big issues with the cleats falling out... Not sure whether it was an issue they resolved as I bought mine quite early... Did a bit of research and found others with similar issue. Makes them slightly unwearable for me, maybe it's my swing but essentially every other hole one would pop out on my right foot (I'm right handed) due to my foot turning in the turf and the cleat catching. Now and again they pop out on my left foot when I caught a big drive and ended up on the edge of my left foot.

Got no joy from Adidas, i bought the shoes online and got the run around.."nothing to do with Adidas, ring Taylormade"... A bit annoying as I bought them of the Adidas website and they have Adidas written all over them!

as for spare cleats, you can get Adidas ones or a generic brand of cleats that fit... You just have to know the same of the fitting...quick search on google should do the trick...

Not had any problem with cleats but I did not get the wide or size bigger and they are a tight shoe but overall very light and good grip. No problems (fingers crossed) after several outings.

Must admit though the Footjoy DNA look like slippers? just a bit pricey.

Hit em Straight ..... ish

Yup. I have had issues with my Adizeros and my DNA's (sadly) with spikes falling out. I believe it is due to the PINS system that the spikes use. You can pretty much undo and re-tighten with your hand, so any twisting in the right direction, and they'll come out. The Fast Twist spikes i have in my Lunar Controls is superb, and I haven't lost a spike!

That's good to know...about the DNA's, a shame though. I was thinking about them as replacements for the adizero tours but was a bit worried as the spikes are exposed a little..If it' she same PINS system I really can't be doing with replaying spikes in between holes... I'd pretty much developed a post shot routine of twirling the club tiger style and then grovelling around on the floor to pick up lost spikes.

Thanks for all the comments but still looking for advice on where I stand legally on returning these missold shoes(don't get me wrong ...love the look and they are very comfortable on the carpet)but SWMBO emailed SportsDirect and they've said I have to return the shoes --at my expense--after having paid for delivery to us for them to 'look at and check'????WThell are they on about;do they think I'm lying about a missing cleat/don't they check things before they despatch ???
Very disappointed in SportsDirect service not even a phone no. you can call, all got to be done by email!!
Will not be dealing with them again and have texted 4 mates at the club who were interested and said they would have a look for future use!
Will still look at other sites but SD have a lot to learn about customer relations and common sense!!!

phil ......as I said earlier-I send back by registered post at my expense(despite having already paid for the shoes to come to me)then if SD decide that I have a genuine case then they can take up to 30 days to refund cost of shoes only!
I am responsible for the cost of sending back an incomplete order??Can someone at SD explain why I am responsible for a missing cleat and have to pay for their mistake in sending out goods not as advertised??
Its as if they are making out that I am responsible for the missing cleat and am having to pay all the costs for their failure to check pre despatch that goods are 'fit for purpose'as advertised!
Sorry but cannot see why I should pay for their failure to check goods pre-delivery!
SWMBO has bought a pack of cleats(PINS) anyway for future use but now going to have to open when they arrive all for the sake of ONE missing cleat!
THank you so much for you great prices, incomplete order and total lack of customer after sales service Sports Direct!Buyer Beware!!
