Hoping so. A few opens I fancied playing that are max 5 handicap so this would also put me in line for that.
Just got to keep the heed. No medals for a couple of weeks but gives time for some work on a few points that need help!

Not played yet am afraid and yes, the partner is not amused! Rumour has it we are getting names for ourselves....

Combination of things have helped to be honest-
New longer course that suits my game better
Putting is improving
Trying to think my way around the course better and taking the safer options
A pro (forumer on here) Jason Dransfield was good enough to do a short game online course that a few have signed up to. Seems to have helped me think about short game and my approach to it. My chipping has certainly improved!
Also have to add there has been a bit of getting the good bounces and I think lady luck is being favourable...
