Was 14/1 before yesterdays heroics :o Only IR market seems to be on the exchanges, is a chunk available at 5/2 though you may get a little bigger if you ask

Wouldn't surprise me at all but I'd still have a nibble if the odds were right...

Hes probably gonna have to at least match yesterday or even go one better to make it and it was miracle on 34th street at times yesterday :). I would want at least 5/1 before considering it.

Took Snedeker weeks ago at 20's to win...........few days ago you could get 40's on Betfair,..something must have happened.....injury perhaps.?....ive lost out there if he wins!!!

Also backed Rose to win at 16's.... and Dustin Johnson 28's(money back on that if Woods/Mcilroy win) and Poulter 45's each way.

Gut feeling is Woods will win.

Yes Snedeker had a wrist injury, missed a few tournaments then played badly when he returned. It was actually possible on Tue/Wed to back him at 40s on Betfair on their sportsbook (not the exchange) where they are paying out if he if he finishes 2nd to Woods too, so in effect 40/1 in a without Tiger market

Well Fundy (forgive me am whacking into Drambuie and ice here lol ) I will feel a 'fool' if Sneds wins and I could have had 40's instead of 20's............will I care?......not!!!......anyway something had to be up with him to drift like that,as you have confirmed......I read an article on him in a golf mag (and was well impressed, and he's world number 4???) while on holiday in Tunisia in mid March and got my mate to get BEST odds AT THE TIME of 20's for me....so I thought 20's was good odds for world number 4 player..........and 40's without Tiger that was UNREAL......he played superb today and the winner for me looks like coming from him Scott Cabrera or Woods.....said earlier my gut feeling was Woods would win......

So..in the morning...I will be looking to attempt to cover my bet on Snedeker......will look at what odds to 'lay' him.......which means I would PROFIT regardless....

I still want a BRIT to win looks like Westwood is our only chance...if only he could putt....

If you backed him 4 or 5 weeks ago at 20s then you backed him at pretty much the best price available. Obv since then Tiger has won a couple of times and he has been injured so his price was certain to get bigger, however when you took the bet you couldnt predict that, thats part and parcel of betting antepost (things can go for and against you). As long as when you bet you got good value then thats all you can do (its actually possible you got better value at 20s than i did a few weeks later at a bigger price!)

Can someone explain to me how I only got £14 back on Sneds at 35/1 £5 e/w? Thought it was 1/4 odds for top six? So thought the £2·50 would get £22 Very confused
