I went into AG today, wanting to try a particular putter.

I knew what I wanted, I knew how much it cost from the website and also that this branch had one in stock. I've known what I wanted in a putter for a while, but just hadn't found one with the 'qualities' I was looking for. I had high hopes for this after reading up on it.

In I walk, find the club, have a few goes with it and decide that it is what I want and I'm going to buy it.

This putter though has a label on it that says "Minimum £50 trade in value". I could have traded in but I didn't want to trade in my current putter, so I had a think for a few seconds and went to the counter...

"Do you sell putters that are less than £50?"
"Yes, they start at around £10"
"So what's to stop me buying one of your cheap putters and giving it back to you as a trade in for this one?"
"I'll ask the manager"

End result, I got £39 knocked off the price of my new all-conquering wand! Lovely :D

If they have a vote on here for 'Entreprenuer of the year', I'm voting for you!! :whoo:

Nice result but you cant tease us putter addicts with a post like that and not tell us what you bought! come on spill

For the moment my lips are sealed until it's had a chance to impress me. I'm playing twice over the weekend so will probably post a review early next week.

I've been looking for something as easy to line up as my Odyssey #7, but feels as firm (and nice) off the face as my Scotty California Sonoma.
I tried the metal-x and it didn't do it for me. This is the new great white hope. ;)

Them's all the clues you're getting :D

It's a putter not the dead sea scrolls! Pfffft,

Many of us are looking for similar and like to share on a golf forum to help each other.

So, share or it didn't happen:ears:

I'd sort of given up for the time being on finding what I wanted, but Sunday evening I noticed Justin Rose's putter was 'fang-shaped' so went online to try to find it in the TM range with new hope, but couldn't.

I don't know why but I decided to look on the Yes! website (probably because I like the roll and the feel off the face) to see if they had anything and came across this.

I've no idea if it is what Rose was using, but it looks very similar.

cool, I also liked the yes Sandy as soon as it was announced, still havent seen one yet at ag, might ask them to get it in to try on a proper green
