Just playing crib and came across this scenario and not sure of correct score.
Had 3 aces and an 8 with another ace on the top of pack.
We thought it scored 12?
Any help much appreciated. 👍

Thanks, sometimes with cards like that you start to second guess. Plus we're all tired after a long walk up the Dane, along very muddy tracks and stopped at the Wrincle Brewery for refreshments on the borders of Staffordshire and Cheshire. 👍

Any 4 of a kind scores 12 without combining with any other cards to score runs and 15s. The 4 cards can form 6 pairs @ 2 points each.
