A list of great songs

I tried out the tele. It was very blocky and 2D compared to the strat. Going for a Mexican Strat. Just need to decide what colour and fretboard wood I want.

I preferred a Rosewood fret on my strat, supposedly a bit mellower tone than Maple.....I just felt it looked better though. (Strat was Black btw).
You'll need to treat the Rosewood fret with oil (not WD40 :) ) once in a while.

Cheers. I used to use stuff called Fast Fret on my Les Paul years ago. The Rosewoods tend to wear down quicker I think too. I'm going to try both out.

I'm sure it was Fast Fret I used, can't quite remember but it sounds familiar. Loved the feel of the board after it had been treated, felt really smooth under my fingers.

I think they do wear out quicker, it adds a bit of character when you can see the wear n tear though.

Aye the mark of a guitarist was how worn his rosewood was. You could tell the type of music they played to as the scales were forever worn out of the wood lol

Correct.

Let's just say I wasn't down the 'dusty end' very often......and it showed, bloody pristine it was down there. :)

When I sold my Les Paul it clear to the new owner that I preferred the Em pentatonic, Em, G, C and D chords lol. I said, yes well I've just learned Appetite for Destruction.
