since my lesson the other day i been looking at stuff so i can watch what im doing and make sure im doing it right.
can highly recomend an app called swing reader
you can watch it slow motion and really see what your doing and also compare it to previous swings or even pros. does other things as well like drawing lines etc but i dont know what thats for so i leave it alone.
there is a either a free version or one which costs £1.19

really recomend this app used it last night at the range. If your on your own you can set a time delay on the recording to give your self time to set up

I have this too, although I can't remember if I have the free one or the paid app.

I'd also recommend it. One thing it does which I haven't really played around with much is you can overlay one swing over the top of the other, and see them both played at the same time with the top one semi-transparent.

What do you guys use to keep your iphone / ipod in the right position to film?

I have this app but no way of filming cause its so hard to set the ipod up to film. Have filmed father in law, and showed him all the flaws in his swing ( i dont think it will have enough memory to show all mine lol)

Cheers

i either get a mate to hold it or i rest it on the back wall which has a convienient piece of wood supporting which holds it the right height. Yesterday i had it on the ball machine but no one was there so that was fine haha.
maybe try and position your golf bag and use that to hold your phone

When I use my phone I rest it on the bench that runs all the way along the back of the range. Have also been known to balance it on my bag.

if you take your stand bag with you then an office bulldog clip (with a fabric plaster over the clip part to stop sliding and scratching) will suffice. I have the app also but havent used it...............yet
