Well yesterday saw me go out 13 over par but come back just one over! It literally was a game of 2 halves, on the front I think I found every OOB and bunker but on the back I could do no wrong! How do we play so differently? Mind you, it is one of the things I love about this game.

How many times do you experience that yourselves?

The worst thing is I didn't win the swindle either as I'm playing off of 3 for that! Roll on the New Year when all those shots come back! :)

All to often :( Although yesterday I was the model of consistency being 4 over on both nines with a double on each side  ) If I can just find some time to get myself sorted out I know it will al come good.

This happens to me fairly regularly. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for it, sometimes I play well on the front 9 and other times it comes good on the back 9. Damn frustrating. :(

I'm encountering this problem too normally front nine pile of rubbish and back very good yesterday low and behold started on fire 22 pts 1 over on front only to. Blow up in dramatic style 11 pts on back arrgh!

Its a regular problem. I think if you chop the front nine you mentally relax (not quite give up but you know what I mean) and it all seems to click. Other times you play the front well and then tighten up and try to steer the ball especially off the tee to protect the score instead of letting the swing flow as it hd done.

I have to say even with my current tribulations following my lesson last weekend I mustered 30 points yesterday and was a mode of consistancy with 15 out and back again
