Any one else on a hot streak?

Played yesterday, in the stableford comp, in the wind and rain, and shot under h/cap again. That's now 9 rounds in a row.
My rounds this weekend being 76, 78 and 75. Now the course is playing a bit short at the mioment, so I think SS will be down from 72 to 69, but that should still get me a 0.8 cut to 8.8.

A good start to the year.

Won't win anything though. Two guys on 45 pts, one on 44 and me a poor 4th/5th on 43 when I left. I hate stableford. Bring on the medals.

Same here mate, only played in 2 comps since winter swing changes and come under h/c in both... had some great friendly games too

I once asked on this forum,how many guys played to there HP week in week out,and answer was hardly anyone,I'M glad theres at least one,great shooting..

I've not shot over my handicap since the end of october even had a couple of level par rounds. No medals till April so no doubt that will be when i start playing badly.

I once asked how often you should play to your handicap, unfortunately it was late in a post and nobody responded.

So i will ask again, how often should you play to your handicap? As a percentage last year i was about 15% which I was told was about right, this year in 7 visits I haven't achieved it once.

had 3 rounds under h/c since christmas, yesturday my putting was a disgrace though, when you getting up and down in 4 from just off teh fringe your never going to have good scores
