I found it pretty entertaining.
What was dire about it?

Scrummage - complete farce caused by the Law tampering, the referee (as is normally the case) didn't have a clue as to what was causing the disruption.

Ruck - as soon as the ball hits the floor the defending side are prevented from competing for posession.

Kicking - too much arial ping pong kicking, caused by the Law tampering.

Ball handling - how many times did either side deliver the ball in such a way that the player receiving the pass lost all forward momentum?

Lines of running - ball carrier running wrong angles

Flood, Foden and Palmer looked the part, the other 27 were very ordinary. I could have played better than Hape now!

It was a close score, that may have made the game exciting, for me it just highlighted the flaws.

Enjoyed the game, loved the result and England can only get stronger as players come back from injury (no kicker likes Lewis Moody in their face every time they get the ball). To me there is nothing better than the 6 Nations. Always room for an upset (Ireland nearly losing to Italy, Scotland scoring 3 tries against and French team playing well).

Here's to next week, only change for England should beto bring Manu Tuilagi out of the Saxons, the kid is 19, fast and built like a tank. Tackles like a demon as well.
