If the clubface and ball are wet there is less friction and less spin from the strike in the first place. But then the greens are wet too so you don't need spin anyway.

Ah but that would happen with morning dew as well. I'm wondering* about effects purely down to rainfall

Snell Prime 2 arrived , just looking at them. Dual core 80 compression urethane cover .. PRO v1 was originally dual core ? 2023 Prov1x is dual core urethane cover 92-95 compression ( I think off the top of my head - but no temperature noted)

So potentially these prime 2 could be rather interesting especially for winter or milder weather and slower swing speeds ..

Speaking from no more than personal experiences and H4H being one, the ball definitely gets knocked out of the air quicker and therefore doesn't go as far in torrential rain

Well the Prime 2 was well away from expectations… it was short by 8-10% across all clubs.
It felt hard and rock like. I just thought this is not like the AD333 and then the Wilson Staff X felt like it was compressing more.
So not sure what’s going on there.
