Played 9 holes tonight and had 4 birdies in a row. Don't think I've done that before. 2nd time I've played in 5 weeks.

What's more surprising is that my putting was at an all time low last month,so I dug out my old ram zebra and couldn't miss. It's amazing what a wee break from the game does eh.

Told you, 10 foot gimmies dont count!

I was 4 down with 5 to go against my pal in a friendly match on the Friday night. My partner pared the last 5 and I beat him 1 up.

Thinking I had used all my luck up for the next 10 years, I played the medal the following day and birdied the last 4.

Dont think I've birdied any of those holes since!

Fantastic stuff considering how often you've played recently.

I had 4 once then got a bit excited on the 5th birdie putt in a row and raced it so far by I walked off with bogey.

Last medal I played I was 3 under after 5 too, crawled home to a 77. Plenty of birdie chances on the front 9 at ours, back 9 a different story. Can hopefully take it to the dundonald open today, although I think I've used all my luck. Different with a card in the hand!

I've never done better than two in a row. Think I've a mental thing that if I'd 2 birdies in a row I play safe next hole as I don't want to give back some of the good work

2 (off the back tee),3 (hybrid, wedge putt),4 (3iron,chip putt),5 (driver,2 putt!) 2-4 all seriously downwind. If only my child would let me play occasionally
Good stuff Grant, downwind doesn't matter, still have to put ball in the hole. Greens are in great nick just now, maybe just a little slower than the normally slick summer speed.
