I was much the same with the infamous Cabbie, but I was really surprised when we met and played together at a meet. Turned out to be a really nice guy and a good 5 h/c golfer.
He just had a different type of abrasive Scottish humour and loved an argument, on keyboards/forums. gone but not forgotten ;)

I think you're not far wrong.

Reading some of these posts just reminds me how high and mighty some are on here, particularly with the rules. I bet most of them play with each other cause you'd have no one to play with if you were exacting the rules to the absolute letter in the manner they make out on here.

Can you imagine it, standing there with their stopwatch helping to find someone's ball....that's it, 2.59....and it's lost sorry. Or spotting someone doing a Lexi on the green marking the ball...hey you, you cheat.
