Only problem with these types on comps is I would feel a bit silly...............great big bag on a mototcaddy carrying 3 clubs and a putter would look a bit daft................
Stick em in your belt.

That sounds like a good idea. Anyone know of a diagram showing me how to carry a golf bag? Been a few years and worried I may get it wrong........

We had ours last week it was 3 clubs including putter if u wanted to bring it, I went Driver 8 Iton and Putter had 18 points for the 9 hole comp. Par's were Driver Driver and had to use D,D on the long par 4.

Ours is 3 + putter too, but off the ladies tees.
I took driver, 7 iron, sand wedge.
Most par 4's are driver and a flick, even the longest par 5 driver then 7 iron gets near enough for a flick, and the 7 iron covers the longest par 3.
I didn't win.

Mine would be:

7i
50 deg wedge
4 irons I will be approx 185 ish - 190 in winter so a couple of decent ones plus a good 7 and thats a chance on a par 5
7 iron approx 160 yards in winter so decent for approach shots
50 deg wedge is 100-110 yards and in - using this for all my chipping round the green now as I have been working on distance control with it and its paying off
some of the par 3' will be tricky (one at 246 yards will have to play as a par 4)

ive done a 2 clubs + putter challenge which was great fun, took 3wood and 7 iron + putter, shot 2 over aswel
