2017 achievement targets

To lower my handicap below 11 and stay there.
Have 1 good round before April with my winter driver😃

First few months is all about recovering from injury
Then a few months over the range building up
Second half of the year, just get out as much as i can and go from there. No point worrying about form, handicap etc.

unfortunately whole year will be a bit of write off golf wise. Wife is due our first baby in May though, so have other things to look forward to.

I've got a few !!!

1) Play a whole round keeping a 6 off of the card
2) Play a level par or better front 9
3) Level or better back 9
4) beat 77 gross
5) Get to single figures
6) End season as a SFG
7) Name on a board
8) Place in the medal masters
9) End the season with the same 14 clubs in the bag that i have now
10) Make an eagle - somewhere, anywhere !!!

Improve my putting
Improve my greenside up/down ratio
Replicate my iron draw with my woods ( and find more fairways)
Cut 1.5 strokes via the above.

But mostly keep enjoying this great game and my time on the course.

4 shots is a big ask but you put some dedication and practice in you will do it!

I'm off 8.9 at present - I did get down to 7.9 - but I then got a new job - but I start another new job in feb - closer to home. So my goal is reduce my handicap by 2 at a minimum. I want to structure my practice sessions better and improve my short game.

My fitness is a key area of improvement - which has improved massively since October so I want to keep it up - I have decided to quit drinking Beer (only beer - can't give up my rum).

Bring it on!

Looking to qualify for the 36 hole final and the club championship, wanting to get past the second round of the match play having never played in it. Reduce handicap to 16. And overall play good golf.

Adding a couple to this list of this seasons goals:

Top 40 at my home open (was something like 86th last year).
Break PB 86 in a medal round.
Beat front and back 9's best scores of 41 and 44, in medal comp.

I have also put date targets on all my goals for the season, to give me a bit more motivation.

Would like to play more and maybe get the handicap down to 8.

Would like to get at least one birdie on comp rounds that I play in, can do it on normal rounds, just not so regularly in comps for some reason.

Goals:
break 100
get my handicap down below 26
play a blob free round
get a birdie in a comp
more than 4 pars in a round

I have some other, more course specific goals for my home course as well, like par the holes where I never managed to play a par yet and to play our 6-hole practice course in 3 over. The breaking 100 is the biggy, though. My best round so far was a 104.

Mine are fairly (in theory) straight forward:

Play more
Play to my handicap around my course
Try get down to around 23/24
Go to the Open.
