Other thread has gone a bit OT so starting a fresh one

Had a very positive repsonse from my man at Hillside GC to my initial email - they are keen and looking at the diary

GM held its centenary clubs day there last year and it was an awesome venue. Great course, v friendly, superb facilites esp practice ground which could open way to have a manufacturer there doing demo stuff

It wont be a weekend day so will mean taking some holiday but there are decent courses that may be able to get a game on a Saturday for those buidling a round(s) either side depending on day they could do

Would love to play Hillside. Played Southport and Ainsdale years ago which was lovely, and understand Hillside is even better. I would be up for a golf tour of the area.

Ditto, would need to be late summer for me, could even make a couple of days of it with the wife and kids (2 trips away without HID in one year is pushing it! haha)

should be a 100%, as its 200 miles ideally id like to share car/fuel costs with a couple of others. I can get 3 sets in my car so iom happy to drive, and with enough notice we could get a good deal on a t/lodge at about £20 per night and try and get a few games in the area.
