Although you're a good player yourself I'd say you'd been on the pop when you made your predictions. The Open is Garcia's least likely chance for a major. Woods won't win three in his first year back? I hope he does, though.

As much as I try not be a tiger fan, and pretend I would hate to see him Slam it home, seriously, how good would it be if he did it? Not just this year, any year.
Fair does the guy is just too god not to like...even just slightly.
Tell you what makes good golf though, when some one beats him and its close....we all love an underdog, and lets face it...who ever steps up to him, will always be the underdog.

Don't see any reason why Woods back to even 90% fitness can't do the slam or why Garcia can't win the Open given his record in that Major.

Maybe you're right about Garcia in the Open. I just detest the guy so much that it would break my heart to see him with the Claret Jug in his paws.

If Woods plays in any I will pick him for any of what he plays in......

Harrington will win at least one next year and i'd say a each way bet on him in all of them will give u a nice profit he has been close in the last couple of years in the masters if he learns how to play the 15th hole think he has a great chance in it, Woods will win one think it will be the us pga and garica will one of the opens with harrington close for the hat trick in the open.
Westwood won't win a major he had plenty of chances to win a regular event this year and blew them all, outsiders to win a major this year Kim,Karlson,scott and maybe Boo.

Too many golfers can win majors to predict at this stage who will win what.
Usual candidates will be there or there abouts I thinks thats all that can be said at this time. Interesting to read tha big leftie Phil has been left out by everyone! I would put him in the mix at Augusta!

Ive seen Phil in a few recent outings and he has lost his mojo I think. Any tournament until recently I would have been willing to lay a few quid on phil, lets hope that he turns up for majors this year with his mojo intact. As far as Tiger is concerned, no one seems to know what hes been doing in the lead up to 2009 and if he hasnt had match practice and comes back, its then a bit of a lottery in the early half of the season, lets hope hes getting plenty in before competing.
