Right got some money to spend, want to put £10 on each major, outright on who will win, these are my pics : -

Masters - Kim / Mickelson

U.S Open - Kim / Mickelson

The Open - Sergio

PGA - Harrington

What you reckon?
 
Tiger WILL win at Augusta if he's fit.
Every logical bone in my body tells me that he'll fix his swing to 99.999% and hone his short game etc. before one outing and then.....wham, welcome Augusta.

As he's not in tournaments, he'll be honed to near perfection......or I'll eat my hat.

I never get it right......says RG, warming up the hat.....
 
Not going to commit to which, but Tiger, Harrington, Garcia and Villegas, in any order you choose. Padraig for the open I guess, going for the hatrick. Villegas for the USPGA, Tiger for the US open, which leaves Garcia for the masters, hang on, that doesn't work, damn. Might save my money and not bet afterall.
 
Up until closer to each even I think I'd be keeping my money firmly in my wallet.Infact even then I'd keep my money firmly in my wallet.

However I think things are ripe for the European invasion of the PGA Tour, especially as I'm more than a bit doubtful about the return of the Worlds #1

With a possible change around for the last 2. :D

I was thinking though, can you imagine after all the talk of Tiger winning the grand slam in 2008 if he came back after injury and hardly any competitive play and did it in 2009. You heard it here first ;)
 
I don't think Kim will ever win the Open, he just does not seem able to me.
Masters Woods/Mickleson/Singh (outside bet)
US Open BOOOOOOO, possibly if he can keep himself together
The Open Itll be a fairly young European this year methinks, westwood,Harrington, Garcia or McIlroy.
PGA Tiger again or else a no name ranked 20+ on tour.
I think the golf is becoming a little like the premiership noone is streaking ahead and there will be plenty of upsets.

I do not for one minute belive that Garcia will EVER win a major, he will sadly be another case of "always the bridesmaid" and all that. Shame as I would like to see him get one.

THE Open, Love to say Padraig but will go with Karlson/Tiger

Its hard to say and I could only bet during the run up to each tournament but people I would like to see win one as they are deserving are:

Tiger if fit.
Westwood
Garcia
Rose
Poulter
 
Mickelson won't win one again. I doubt that Tiger will win one this year after his lay-off. No Brits or Irishmen, either. At least, not in my crystal ball.
There will be first-timers. Kim and Weekley, if you ask me.
I hope I'm wrong, BTW. Westwood, Rose, Casey and Poulter in any order would be fine. Young Rory will have his day, I'm sure.
