1st time under 80 in a comp.

Decided to take a half day today to go play in midweek comp at my place soooo glad i did. Broke 80 with a 79 for 1st time officially. Everything just seemed to work and it was even sunny!!Had 3 birdies (none at par 3's) the most ive ever managed and 6 pars. 43 points in total but its the cut im more interested in. Unsure how much id get cut. Any help with the calculations wud be greatly appreciated. Im over the moon!!

I'd guess at around 2.1 but will obviously depend on the dreaded CSS. Very Nice shooting did you clean up with that?

Well done! Thats some great scoring.

One of my aims this season is my first sub 80 round too. Closest ive ever got is 82 so far.

Very nice shooting.

Should be a decent cut at 7 under HC / 7 points more then HC so even if CSS is a bit lower than par / SSS it will amount to a good cut.

No idea where the sun came from as it was forecast to rain and there wasnt a cloud in the sky. Thanks for all the comments. A cut of 2 wud be great.

Well played - I must admit to being a tad jealous - despite getting down to 12 I still haven't broken 80 in a comp. Surely it's only a matter of time. Anyway keep up the good play.
