1st win of the new season

Posted the below yesterday and rang ghe club today to see if results were in. Was informed id won yesterdays comp but more importantly a cut to 14.3! Over the moon!!


Decided to take a half day today to go play in midweek comp at my place soooo glad i did. Broke 80 with a 79 for 1st time officially. Everything just seemed to work and it was even sunny!!Had 3 birdies (none at par 3's) the most ive ever managed and 6 pars. 43 points in total but its the cut im more interested in. Unsure how much id get cut. Any help with the calculations wud be greatly appreciated. Im over the moon!!

Think your handicap puts you in the 0.3 category so 7 under par (43-36) times 0.3 = 2.1 shots and thats your cut? Think I'm right

Shandon Park is Par 70/SSS 70, so, depending on CSS, the cut could have been from 6 x 0.3 = 1.8 to even 10 x 0.3 = 3.0, but I'm sure the 2.1 cut was very welcome.

Thanks for the support folks, still in a bit of shock but its nice when your golf game clicks occasionally! Was more than happy with 2.1 as the cut. Have to get head down and keep it going!
