Played my first comp of the year last saturday at Golspie.
Course was in superb condition for the time of year. Trouble was the 60 mile an hour winds. Shot a 92, 81 net.
Must remember next time i'll tee off when the tides out as i hit 3 balls in the sea, in the afternoon you can at least play off the beach. A guy from my club won with a 74, 76 gross, he plays off +2.
First medal on Saturday, but the weather is not looking great for Saturday, rain, rain and more rain. More snow for the cairngorms too :(

Conditions if they were anything like Machrihanish last Saturday would have been extremely tough and 74 is an awesome score.

We had three scratch golfers at Machrihanish and I dont think anyone broke 80.

Not played at Golspie but I had a wee sneaky peak on their website. Looks nice.
