“Celebrity” Traitors - probably spoilers

Am still astonished how they are missing the clues. As soon as Joe starts raising the ante the fingers point at him. 😳 the way this is going, the last three will be the traitors.

Alan gave himself away to the group tonight, going to be banished on Tuesday. Surely.

Who should be gone in tonight’s murder?
Nick, Kate & Lucy are on the chop.
Has to be Nick, right? That’s next Tuesday sorted, Wednesday reshuffle.

Would have thought so. His strategy of not revealing his thoughts on a certainty Traitor until the very end was tried in an earlier series (UK S2?) by Jaz - it failed as he was murdered before he could reveal his suspicions.

What has Tuesday got to do with it? Next week is still Wednesday and Thursday with final the Thursday after.

I don't watch it, my wife does and gives me a run down each evening 🙄. Is it not one of these where it's obvious when you know but if you were equally in the dark, would it be so obvious? You have the benefit of seeing everything, makes a big difference.

Also, is part of the fun not chuckling at the micro clues missed?

I thnk you have nailed it. Part of the fun is watching them flounder when the truth is often staring them in the face.

Thing is…Faithful tend to have the collective memory of a goldfish…they forget, and feelings that cause them to think someone is a Traitor dissipate quickly…after all…feelings are not real and so are difficult to keep hold of.

The odd thing is when Sir Steve pointed out traitors have less sleep and Kat is asleep. 😂👍

Except…we can all lose sleep when worried about something, and Faithful too worry - about being banished or murdered and about why they can’t find Traitors. It’s a thought worth holding on to, but given the way things have gone, will they remember, and besides, Traitors are now alerted and will now avoid appearing sleepy.

But...
Openly accuse anyone of being a traitor and it'll either backfire and you'll be voted off or murdered or they will be voted off and you'll be immediately recruited or suspected of being recruited and voted off next.
Meanwhile, everybody knows JR is a traitor but better to know than not know.
It's a good game because it just turns the smart ones inside out trying to out-triple bluff each other.
Essentially it's just a game of chance with infinite variables.

Except they have no real evidence whatsoever from anything he’s said or done. Those that are convinced base it on the theory that the producers identified two ‘Big Dogs’…with JR being one, and I’m not sure why they’d bother doing that as they could both be out Day One - one banished and one murdered. So the whole concept would founder on the rocks of confusion at the very start.

Anyway…I predict a ‘murder in plain sight’ coming that will be almost impossible for a Traitor to get away with.

Did you miss Alan murdering Paloma right at the beginning? He has got away with that quite well so far.

Yes he did…but nobody saw him do it…other than Paloma - and she was gone - though if she’d suspected anything she had time to mention to others.

I’m thinking of a murder that will be visible to Faithful in addition to the person being murdered; but they’ll still have to twig what’s happened and who did it. The producers have to help the Faithful find a Traitor by almost handing it to them on a plate.

Unfair on the Traitor doing the murdering but there you go.

Well no, that's the point of the game. Until such time as they're allowed to review the footage or somebody decides to take another celeb out with a lead pipe, evidence doesn't come into it.
But, at some point, almost everyone has made a strong case for JR being a traitor, starting with the young guy, Ruth and Clare Balding; all of whom he had despatched in the first few days.
Even he has spent the last 3 episodes wondering how he's still there.

I’m sure Alan’s shield forgetfulness will put him in the firing line. I’d be surprised if a traitor doesn’t go next Wednesday either Jonathan or Alan - then it will be do they recruit or not? as it will be only 2 Traitors and 5 Faithfuls left.

If I recall correctly, on GMB Kate Garraway said something along the lines of "I didn't know Alan was traitor whilst I was in there". Unless this slip was misdirection, then she must go pretty soon.

In the 'the rest is entertainment podcast' they raised an interesting point.
At the round table, if all 3 traitors just block vote, eg they all pile on Kate or Nick, ... then that's 3 votes, and at current round tables they just have to pick someone one other person votes for.
After that it is just a given that they will survive.

Yes, that's why its key that they get rid of a Traitor next ep.

However the Traitors never want to win as a 3 so they turn against each other at some stage so preferably they can win on their own.

celebrities, 3 charities getting some money makes them look better.
they don't fight for 100k for themselves, and it wouldn't make a difference to many of them anyway.
