“Celebrity” Traitors - probably spoilers

They do this in the 'normal' version as well. They base their decisions on who would make a good traitor on their jobs, accents, backgrounds, whatever and not on what they would gain from various people being eliminated. It is a bit harder this time as the shields don't seem as important and they seem almost secondary to raising money.
Yes, Dr Kaz got done for it in S2 and the diplomat in last year’s S3.
That’s why in S3 Charlotte went Welsh and the soldier lady pretended to be a nail technician.

I hate this cliffhanger, but at least it’s on a Wednesday with resolution tomorrow.

Each episode should have showing the previous kill, a banishment, and a murder discussion with tomorrow’s options for a kill.

True but they really couldn’t miss that opportunity. I’m sure there’ll be at least two probably three celebs leaving tomorrow.
Interesting watching ‘Uncloaked’ how much the players are super fans of the show.

Yep. I can't see how the producers have put a foot wrong so far. It was a gift of a cliffhanger tonight - they'd have been fools to waste it.

Apparently the shows producers are looking into a “ traitor” amongst the makers of the show. The word on the street is that the winner of the show has been leaked out 😡

Loving it. If the Faithful don't up their game a bit the producers will be having to step in to make things blatantly obvious.

I think the viewer engagement is different with this celeb version. Normally with Traitors we don't know any of the 'players' (they are just you or I) but we get a feel for what winning would mean to them individually. As a result over a normal series we form a relationship with each and every one - that relationship will be somewhere on the scale of: I don't like them at all and don't want them to win...through to...I really like them and really want them to win; I become oddly quite invested 'emotionally' with certain individuals and that really increases the tension around the round table and murders. I don't get that with the celebs at all.

It has been said elsewhere but one of the interesting things about this is that there is a perceived hierarchy established within the group before the first ever meeting,. Obviously the likes of Stephen Fry and Jonathan Ross at the top, with others such as Niko or David at the other end of the scale (see how overawed Niko was when Stephen said he knew all about him) - this adds a different dynamic to proceedings.
Also players, sort of, have to protect their brand - if they come off as duplicitous, stupid or unpleasant this could have a negative effect on their career just as much as coming across really well may enhance it.
This all makes the game different from the civilian one, whether it is better or not I’ll wait to judge but it certainly does make it fascinating.
For fans of the show, Traitors Ireland will be airing on iPlayer after this version finishes with Sisiter Michael hosting.

that is possibly the main difference, apart from us knowing who most of them are in itself. Still good viewing, I am not sure yet if it is even better or not.

The one thing they got right is to pick 'proper' celebrities, not love island runner ups and the like.

The Faithful's are still basing their decisions on the jobs the other celebs do and whether that would make them a good Traitor and not trying to work out who would benefit form the murders. Unless they switch on and start working out who is getting murdered and why, then it could be a resounding win for the Traitors.

I think the faithfuls are a bit “ pudding”. The two main clues re a traitor are directed at Jonathon Ross, 1, talking about Alliances. 2, Also Jonathon Ross doing a double bluff. Both have been discussed but both ignored.
All other views from the “ faithfuls” have been opinions only. The fact that Claire Baldwin had it nailed and yet was voted out by the faithfuls on opinion only shows how pudding they are.
Kat is playing a fantastic game as a traitor.

Enjoying this series BUT it's been let down by a bad casting. The people are way too nice and don't have it in themselves to be ruthless. Possibly the fact it's for charity and they're enjoying the experience plays a part. The normal version is about selfishness and wanting that money at any cost which is what makes the show....

Also, why is 20% of the show dramatic music, pictures of Land Rovers and candles flickering? More interactions and less filler!

...and she will throw Jonathan Ross under the bus in the next 2 or 3 episodes.

As a Faithful, if you are really certain that someone is a Traitor, the best strategy is not to get them voted out but to make them think you are absolutely no threat so there is no need for them to murder you and hope in the meantime you don't get banished. Then you get rid of Traitor you know at the death.
The last thing in reality you want to do is get rid of someone you are certain about because that just means your one certainty is removed and will be replaced via recruitment by someone you have no idea about.

Nick espoused exactly this theory tonight, whilst naming Cat and Jonathan - he is a smart cookie,
