Quite enjoying this so far. Thought the inverted commas on Claudia’s cape was a nice touch, as well as her jibes about the fact that the celebrities should be used to being lied to.
Good choice of traitors. I know it has been said a lot but nice to have some people on such a show that you’ve actually heard of.
There won’t be perhaps the same drive to win the money as it’s going to a good cause whoever wins, just which cause. However I am sure they will become more and more competitive as the show progresses.

We're enjoying it so far.
The Trojan horse was a beautiful piece of artwork. Shame they torched it. It probably cost more than the final amount they'll be donating.

The celebs are definitely out of their comfort zones and t is great watching them squirm.

Claudia was so right when she said that people lie to them all the time, reminded me of something I saw a while ago when the media showed how different Jonathan Ross was when reviewing films and when he had the guests on his chat show. He would slate the film on Film 22 (or whatever it was) and then come over all gushy when he had the stars on his chat show.

Thoroughly enjoying the celeb version. Tbh I've never watched any of the normal versions. Is the celeb one better or worse than the normal ones, or much the same?

The dynamic is a bit different because they all know who each other are, and quite a few are friends as well.
Also, it’s series 4 at this point and since last season the ‘cast’ is not only trying to check each other out but also second guessing what Claudia would do, eg big dog theory this time. Who is least likely to kill Paloma, what Jonathan said even before traitors were picked. 20 randoms who are unknown to each other wouldn’t have that baggage, I think.

What we don’t have this time is people going for shields, prioritising them over the group cash prize.

I prefer the non celeb one although I am enjoying the celeb one. The public one they have no preconceived thoughts on anyone else.
I prefer the secrets the public contestants have, even if the secret is that they are only pretending to be Welsh 😂.
I don’t like celeb versions of other programmes.
As much as they are giving any winnings to their chosen charity, it still annoys me that they are being paid more in appearance money than what the charities get.
The only plus with the celebrity Traitors is at least they are all actual celebs rather than a z listed so called celebs and disgraced polititions.

The celebs on Traitors are getting £40k each, which, pro rata, is a lot less than they would get for something like Pointless or The Chase. They are also all getting the same, unlike shows like I'm a Celeb or Strictly which seem to vary greatly depending how 'big' the celeb is deemed to be

They are having another 'Welsh Charlotte' this time, I am not buying it ;-)

I think this one is good because they have proper celebrities, people everyone knows, and some famous people a lot of people know.
I don't know who any of the soap actors are, but there is enough for me in the house to 'know everyone'.
Other shows have too many love island runner ups and similar sorts of 'stars'.

The one thing I wonder is, how would Darren Brown do in this? Or maybe being in there and being bad at reading people could blow is magic act.

I could never “ get “ Alan Carr, but during this series he has really made me laugh. 👍

Not sure which version is best, too early to tell.

But if you like this version you will also like the other, it is strangely addictive.

JR is a great traitor, running rings round the faithfuls.
But they are onto him.

On the ‘the rest is entertainment’ podcast they talked about how he did nothing wrong but the reason they are onto him is just because he is JR.

I said above already, for me they are too much playing against Claudia and the producers, not against the traitors as in the game.

They do this in the 'normal' version as well. They base their decisions on who would make a good traitor on their jobs, accents, backgrounds, whatever and not on what they would gain from various people being eliminated. It is a bit harder this time as the shields don't seem as important and they seem almost secondary to raising money.

When you hear the celebs making there choices on who to expel, it’s kinda like “ am really sorry as I really really like you, and I really really don’t want to upset you, but I heard your name mentioned, so really really sorry but Ave choose you”.
Claudia hit the nail on the head. It’s time they all got ruthless.
The traitors are playing a fantastic game eliminating the ones who are playing the game well.
