Morning all!

Been away for a while occasionally looking in but not putting my head above the parapet..!
Well, as the title suggests, after a little birthday I now have £400 worth of AG vouchers so wondering what to squander it on...it's burning a hole!

I am in the market for a new set of shineys, or woods, or driver, or GPS....or anything really!

Thought that you guys may come up with some good ideas should you be in a similar situation?

I will of course not be disclosing that I have vouchers to the poor AG salesman that has to deal with me and I will be haggling into his commission margin somewhat ;)

I await your wise and thoughtful replies chaps...and chapess'

Only used it a couple of times but my best purchase recently has been the Garmin S3 approach watch, I don't wear a watch and have small wrists so thought it would be awkward to play with, not a bit of it. Its so light you don't know it is there. I've been surprised by just how far it is to the back of some greens I play to at my home course and clubbed up with success accordingly. Then I played a new course and can't imagine I would have got around as well as I did without it as they had no course planner.

Shop around and use the price-match if needs be, I got mine for £200.

New irons OR a laser and a new Driver. Just make sure you keep that 3 wood and putter!!!!

Hope all is well fella ;)

Just got a razr extreme driver. Silly money, but very nice. Cally too, so you'd be happy.

I always find galvins come up for the larger athlete, ideally a short large athlete.

For me it would have to be a 913FD 3 wood & a couple of new wedges, I think that would be right around £400.

If I was you, a GPS would definitely be first on my list if you don't already have one that is.

Tiger - All's good thanks and I wouldn't dream of it! Brett Vale when the WX is better?
Murph - I'm hurt that you think I'm an athlete... ;)

Tempted by a GPS as I currently use shotsavers but I do like the look of the Cally XF's. I feel I may need a few more vouchers...!

I was thinking Razr Extreme as well for CallawayKid, as it's one of the few new clubs that I'd like to have a go with.

How does it compare to the 910 Murph?

Curls... where did you get it for that price from?

Aren't they currently doing TM rocketbladz for £399? Might be worth a look

Although that could be direct golf I get so many golf emails nowadays

Hard to say, as I've only hit it on the range, in the dark. Will probably post a review after the weekend, when its seen some action.

Hmmm... £400 you say.... I'd try out the new AMP Cell in Orange and buy that if it lives up to how it looks in my mind then with the £160 change a new summer wardrobe as there is nothing else I need but can never have to much new golf clothing especially loving Puma summer range.
